4th Hastings going back to basics and writing letters!! Yes, It's True.

The Guides have found new friends in the form of penpals from Australia.

Sara found the connection on social media and it all started from there.

The Australian Guides are from Baldivis Brumby Guide unit, Western Australia.

It all started when Sara joined an Australian Leaders group on Facebook, The pen-pal idea was suggested and it took off from there!

The first letters arrived from Brumby at the beginning of April, enclosed were letters and Photo's from the Guides telling who they were, their likes, and where they come from. also they sent over some Australian Guide Patches.

In return, from our side of the World, Letters and badges were sent over to their new friends.

This is such a brilliant idea, Lets see if we can get all Division units doing this with Girlguiding Countries around the world.
